Does Pacific Sound Radio only feature Vancouver and British Columbia based artists on your show?

We at Pacific Sound Radio are all fans of many Canadian and international artists, our mission however is to foster and grow support the nationally and internationally underrepresented Vancouver music scene. We actively support artists from the Greater Vancouver area, Vancouver Island, and wherever else talented musicians hail from in British Columbia.

While we might consider opening up our program to touring or international artists in the future, currently our focus is to prioritize guest spots on our show to local musicians and industry professionals who call British Columbia home.

I am a musician/I play in a band and would love to be a guest on Pacific Sound Radio. How can I get on the show?

We’re always looking for new and exciting bands and artists to feature on our program. That being said, we often book at least a month in advance and need plenty of notice for you to be considered for the program. We also like to prioritize bands and artists that have an upcoming release or tour so that our guests can make the most out of their time on the show.  Here are some helpful details to include in your email:

  1. A brief bio or EPK on your act

  2. A link to your latest song or video

  3. Links to your social media streams (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and to your artist/band website

  4. Details on your next release or upcoming tour

  5. An answer to the following question: Who is your favorite Vancouver/BC based band or artist and why?

I work in the music industry and would love to be a featured on your Pacific Sound Profile segment. How can I get on the show?

Along with representing the talented musicians that make up the music scene, we love to connect and provide a platform for the highly skilled individuals who work behind the scenes to keep Vancouver music alive and thriving. If you are a producer/engineer, promoter, booking agent, videographer, we would love to hear from. Here are some helpful details to include in your email:
