Michaela Slinger is a singer/songwriter who plays a joyful, finely crafted, and panoramic style of pop music in the vein of contemporary greats like Carly Rae Jepsen and Taylor Swift. Her new album is titled This Can’t Last Forever.

Fresh from her first major North American tour, Michaela is an artist on the rise in the Western Canadian music ecosystem. Her first record Panorama was an honorable mention on our Best of 2021 episode and we had a lot of fun talking about creative growth, artistic earnestness, her latest release, and tales from the road.

Bratboy are a power trio who play a snappy and fun blend of early punk, surf rock, and 60s pop while incorporating an eye-catching visual style throughout their music videos, photoshoots, and on-stage attire.  

The group has played with international touring acts including Amyl and the Sniffers and Starcrawler along with local groups such as Dead Soft and Woolworm.
